Hey everyone, I’m Landen!

Here is a little piece I think sums up Rise Fitness very well:

There is a point in each one of our lives where we fall deeper than we have before. We have only one choice when we descend to that depth, to rise. For our family, our friends and those who look up to us from their own quiet shadows.

This past year has been one of the toughest yet. But through all the tears and darkness it has brought me my “why”. For now it takes the form of fitness, creating smiles and change the best way I know how. Alas evolution is inevitable, who knows what the future will hold.

So, in final thought, rise from the past, and realize the future is created by no one but yourself.

Now a bit about myself,

I’m a personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sport Medicine and I’ve been living in the Duluth area for about two years. My passion for fitness developed around the age of 14 and I've chased that passion ever since. Around the same time, I began realizing I was struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression. So for the next seven years I relentlessly studied anything I could get my hands on regarding the topics of fitness and mental health. It’s been a long journey and I am by no means an expert on either topic, but a recent event in my life has opened my eyes to just how much of an effect it’s possible to have on people. This is where Rise Fitness came into the picture. A true tool or modality where I can combine the skills I've learned and make a difference in peoples lives.
